Joe was a 2012 graduate of Malvern Prep. At Malvern, he was a two-way play (pitcher and first basemen). Joe helped lead his team to two Inter-Ac Championships as well as a State Championship. Joe was First-Team All Inter-Ac, First Team All-City, Inter-Ac MVP, Philadelphia Inquirer Player of the Year, and Gatorade Player of the Year Runner-up in Pennsylvania. Additionally, Joe was ranked the #12 high school player in Pennsylvania by Perfect Game USA.Collegiately, Joe played at La Salle University in the Atlantic 10 Conference. At La Salle, Joe was First Team All Atlantic 10, First Team All-Big 5, La Salle Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Senior CLASS Award Finalist (award for top Senior in the nation), Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team, Rawlings All-Region Team. During his Junior Season, Joe was ranked 12th in the nation in slugging percentage, one spot ahead of Chicago Cubs 2nd Baseman, Ian Happ.
Joe Played collegiate summer ball in the Cape Cod League for the Harwich Mariners amongst the top collegiate players in the nation.In July 2016, Joe signed his first contract in professional baseball, inking a deal with the Rockland Boulders of the Can-Am League. In November 2016, he was then traded to the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League where he would pitch in 2017. Joe has led numerous clinics at NELL, Malvern Prep, Cape Cod, and other locations, in addition to giving private lessons for the last two years. He has been involved with PBT since September 2016, and is on the Malvern Prep Baseball coaching staff this spring.
